On October 13, 1953, the USPS issued a stamp to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Future Farmers of America. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Kansas City, MO) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope) features the organization's logo and a tractor, as well as a scene right out of a Norman Rockwell painting. Great art, great history, unaddressed, this cover is a collectible, piece of farm and postal memorabilia.
Double matted in blue & white, this piece will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
