On September 17, 1999, the USPS issued a stamp to celebrate the extraordinarily successful, affordable, yet 'sporty, Ford Mustang. The introduction of this vehicle by Ford's General Manager Lee Iacocca, was one of the 15 events chosen to represent the decade of the 1960's in the 150 stamp series, issued over a 4-year period, called Celebrate the Century. A sheet of stamps for each decade had only one stamp for each event on it. Today these sheets are in the hands of collectors and must be 'broken up' to get an individual stamp.
We've paired one of these collectible, historic, uncancelled stamps with a full-color photo print of the 1965 Ford Mustang - Serial No. 1. Matted in green, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x10 frame. At Wall Art Collectibles, we always mat to standard frame sizes giving you the option of selecting the frame of your choice.
