On March 19, 1998, the USPS issued a set of stamps commemorating five Flowering Trees.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with all five stamps, depicting the Southeast Magnolia, Blue Paloverde, Yellow Poplar, Prairie Crab Apple, and the Pacific Dogwood, cancelled from the city of issue (New York, NY) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features the flowers from these five magnificent trees, by one of Britain's most reknowned botanical artists, Kristin Rosenberg.  The producer of this cover has written a brief commentary about America's flowering trees as well as the artist, which we've included.

Double matted in green and white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity plus Commentary Included***
