On March 3, 1995, the USPS issued a stamp commemorating the 150 Anniversary of Florda Statehood.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp, depicting a lively gator, cancelled from the city of issue (Tallahassee, FL) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) shows the Great Seal of Florida featuring a Native American girl, symbolizing the first Floridians, a rising sun illuminating a side-wheeler boat and sabal palms.  The company that produced this cover has written a brief commentary about Florida, which we've included.

Double matted in green & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity plus Commentary Included***
