Fanny Brice....

On August 29, 1991, the USPS issued a stamp to honor funny woman, Fanny Brice. This stamp was one of five to honor Comedians.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp, designed by Al Hirschfeld, cancelled from the city of issue (Hollywood, Ca.) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features Fanny Brice as Baby Snooks, a character she created.  Collectible, historic, this cover is a piece of movie and postal memorabilia. The company that produced this cover has also written a brief commentary about Fanny Brice, which we've included.

Double matted in blue & white, this piece will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity plus Commentary Included***
