On February 6, 1984, the USPS issued a stamp to commemorate the Soil & Water Conservation Service and to call attention for the need of Soil & Water Conservation.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Denver, CO) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) depicts two farmers planting a tree, a windmill in the background.  It's printed on silk, the luster lending an-almost three dimensional quality to the picture.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
