On August 16, 1963, the USPS issued a stamp to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation. Shown here is a genuine FIRST DAY COVER, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the CITY OF ISSUE (Chicago, Illinois) on the FIRST DAY OF ISSUE captioned above.

The black & white CACHET (artwork on the envelope) features a photo of Linclon and his cabinet discussing the Emancipation Proclamation. Collectible, historic, this piece is one of many Black Heritage and Abraham Lincoln items offered by Wall Art Collectibles.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.   ***CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY INCLUDED***
