On January 8, 1993, fifty-eight years from his birth in Tupelo, Mississippi, the USPS issued a stamp to honor Elvis Presley and his contribution to music. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the Elvis stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Memphis) on the first day of issue captioned above. The Post Office had a special cancellation made - the gates of Graceland. Collectible, historic, uncancelled, pristeen - if you don't have a First Day Cover of the Elvis stamp, now is the time to get one. This is a very limited production for this cover - this one is no. 380 of 3680.
The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features full-color art of a young Elvis superimposed over the front of Graceland. Also depicted is the Graceland logo embossed in gold.
The cover is joined by a full-color art print of Elvis.
Matted in blue, this piece is sized to fit a standard 11 x 14 picture frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
