Each year the list of Endangered Species grows longer.  In order to call attention to the plight of the world's disappearing animals, the United Nations issued a set of 12 stamps on March 3, 1993.  All twelve of these full-color stamps are displayed in mint condition on this beautiful Collector Panel, featuring the artwork of artist Pal Varga, who has chosen to portray six of the animals in this set....the Snow Leopard, Grevy's Zebra, the Gorilla, the Peregrine Falcon, the Desert Monitor, and the Grey Wolf.  The remaining animals  shown on the stamps are the Giant Clam, the Amazonian Manatee, the Giant Sable Antelope, the Whooping Crane, Humboldt's Penguin, and the Queensland Hairy-nosed Wombat.

The subtle earth tones of the artwork are complimented by the dark green mat.  We've sized this piece to fit a standard 11x14 frame.  Also included is a commentary about each animal and the artist.  It comes in its own plastic bag with removable adhesive strip, suitable for applying to the back of the framed piece for quick reference.  Collectible, historic, the combination of these 12 magnificent stamps with incredible artwork, add up to a pleasing addition to your home or office.
