Duryee's ZOUAVES 5th NY Volunteer Infantry GAR Stamp

The Duryee's Zouaves art print by Don Prechtel is joined by an uncancelled 1949 stamp commemorating the Last Encampment of the GAR (Grand Army of the Republic.  Duryee's Zouaves, a 5th NY Volunteer Infantry unit led by Abram Duryee, were known for their closest resemblance to 'real' French Zouaves of any other US and CS Zouave regiments.

Matted in blue, this piece is sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.
