On May 1, 1997, the USPS issued a set of fifteen stamps in a series called The World of Dinosaurs. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp commemorating the Corythosaurus, cancelled from the city of issue (Grand Junction, CO) on the first day of issue captioned above. Note the special postmark designed for the cancellation of these four stamps on their "birthday."

The color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a Corythosaurus, a lambeosaur or crested duckbill, that grew to a length of 33 feet. The company that produced this cover has written a brief commentary about this dinosaur, which we've included.

Double matted in dark green & maroon, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity plus Commentary Included***
