On July 15, 2006, the USPS issued a set of four stamps honoring Baseball Sluggers - Roy Campanella, Mickey Mantle, Mel Ott, and Hank Greenberg.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp for Hank Greenberg, cancelled from the city of issue (Bronx, New York) on the first day of issue captioned above.  Note the special postmark of a 'slugger' designed expressly to cancel this set of stamps on their 'birthday.'

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a bat, glove, and baseball with 'ank Greenberg' on it.  It's printed on silk, the luster lending an-almost three dimensional quality to the picture and a vibrancy to the color.

We have paired this First Day Cover with a black & white photo print of Hank Greenberg, one of the all-time greatest right-handed batters. During his career with the Detroit Tigers, "Hammerin' Hank" led the American League in home runs and RBI four times each, and twice named Most Valuable Player. Historic, collectible, this is a must-have for a Detroit Tigers fan!

Matted in blue, it's sized to fit a standard 11x14 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
