On August 25, 1988, the USPS issued a set of five stamps to commemorate Classic Cars. One of these was for the 1935 Dusenberg, shown here on a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Detroit) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features this beautiful touring car. Great art, unaddressed, this cover is a collectible, historic piece of automobile and postal memorabilia. The producer of this cover has also written a short commentary about the Dusenberg, which we've included.
Double matted in blue & white, this piece will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity plus Commentary Included***
