On April 21, 2006, the USPS issued a set of four stamps celebrating The Art of Disney Romance. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp honoring Beauty & the Beast cancelled from the city of issue (Orlando, FL) on the first day of issue captioned above. Note the special postmark, featuring Minnie penning a love-letter to you-know-who, specially designed to cancel this set of stamps on their 'birthday.'
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features the rose that the Beast presents to Belle, surrounded by hearts, all in lively Disney colors. The artwork is printed on silk, making the colors dance and shimmer.
