On July 2, 1991, the USPS issued a stamp to honor the heroes of Desert Storm.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Washington DC) on the first day of issue captioned above. The addition of the older 1952 stamp honoring Women in the Military, which was cancelled along with the Desert Storm stamp, makes this cover a Combo...an extra-special first day cover.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) pays tribute to the women who served in Desert Storm.  The picture is printed on silk surrounded by gold embossing.  What a perfect way to honor a woman veteran of Desert Storm!

Double matted in blue & white, we've sized this piece to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
