On March 29, 1988, the USPS issued a stamp to commemorate the 350th Anniversary of the New Sweden Colony in Delaware. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Wilmington, DE) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The color cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) shows the building of Ft. Christina on the Delaware River.
Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
