On September 25, 1993, the USPS issued a set of four stamps honoring four Legends of Country Music...Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, the Carter Family, and Bob Willis. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp for Patsy Cline cancelled from the city of issue (Nashville, TN) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) depicts a portrait of Cline as well as a small inset showing her performing. It's printed on silk surrounded by gold embossing.
