On June 9, 1995, the USPS issued a stamp commemorating the Cog Railway of the 1870's. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Dallas, Tx.) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a cogway making its way up an incline. Great art, unaddressed, this cover is a collectible, historic piece of railroad and postal memorabilia.
Double matted in blue & white, this piece will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
