The USPS issued a set of four stamps in 1997 commemorating Classical Composers:  Charles Ives, Louis Moreau Gottschalk, Samuel Barber, and Ferde Grofe'.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with all four stamps cancelled form the city of issue (Cincinnati, Ohio) on the first day of issue (September 12, 1997.)

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features musical notes, but it is the stamps that are the true works of art. For a lover of American Classical Music, this is a collectible, historic piece of music memorabilia.

Double matted in  blue & white, it will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included ***
