On April 6, 1993, the USPS issued a set of four stamps celebrating the 200th anniversary of the American Circus. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp for the Trapeze Artist cancelled from the city of issue (Washington DC) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features trapeze artists. The picture is printed on silk surrounded by gold embossing.
Double matted in blue and barn red, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. *** Certificate of Authenticity Included***
