On April 6, 1993, the USPS issued a set of four stamps celebrating the 200th anniversary of the American Circus. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with all four stamps (Aerialist, Elephant, Ringmaster, and Clown) cancelled from the city of issue (Washington DC) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features all four circus participants depicted on the stamps. The picture is rendered in watercolor.

Double matted in wine & blue, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  *** Certificate of Authenticity Included***
