On October 20, 2005, the USPS issued a set of four Christmas stamps depicting four different Decorated Cut-out Cookies. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with all four stamps cancelled from the city of issue (Minneapolis, MN) on the first day of issue captioned above. Note the special postmark created to cancel these stamps on the first day.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) shows four different Gingerbread Cut-out Cookies...a snowman, an angel, a gingerbread lady, and tree. Printed on silk, the luster makes the print look almost three-dimensional. Whether you're a baker, a person that loves to bake and decorate cookies, or someone who loves interesting collectible Christmas items, this cover is sure to please.
Double matted in blue & white, this piece is sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
