On September 23, 1974, Canada issued a stamp to celebrate the sport of Curling, as one of the sports of the XXI Olympic Games held in Montreal. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Ottawa, Ontario) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features the Canadian Maple Leaf with the Gold Medal created for these games. There is no US stamp for Curling - the Canadians came through for this sport....and, Wall Art Collectibles is proud to offer two different Canada Curling Covers.
Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
