Columbia University....
On March 25, 2004, the USPS issued an imprinted postcard with the imprint or "stamp" commemorating the 250th Anniversary of the Columbia University - first chartered by the Church of England in 1754 as King's College. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, in this case a postcard with the imprint or "stamp," depicting Low Memorial Library, cancelled from the city of issue (New York, NY) the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) depicts 'Alma Mater Statue' outside the Library. It's printed on silk and framed in a gold-embossed border.
Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY INCLUDED***
