On August 1, 1951, the USPS issued a stamp commemorating the 75th Anniversary of Colorado Statehood. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp, depicting the State Capitol, the Rocky Mountains, the Rocky Mountain Columbine, and a Bucking Bronco, cancelled from the city of issue (Minturn, CO) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) shows the State Capitol Building in Denver, the State Seal, The Rockies, and the State Flower - the Rocky Mountain Columbine.
Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
