On May 21, 1977, the USPS issued a stamp commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Colorado Statehood. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp, depicting the Rocky Mountains and the State Flower - the Rocky Mountain Columbine, cancelled from the city of issue (Denver, CO) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) shows the Gateway to the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak, as well as the State Seal.
Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
