On August 20, 1998, the USPS issued a set of five stamps to celebrate favorite pets. Each animal (Cat, Dog, Goldfish, Hamster, and Parakeet) was portrayed with big eyes...The set was called Bright Eyes. Shown here on this genuine First Day Cover is the Cat stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Boston, MA) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color watercolor cachet (artwork on the envelope) features three kittens enjoying spilled milk. Printed below the picture is "Bright Eyes for Cat Lovers." This makes a great gift for the Cat Lover in your life.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  *** Certificate of Authenticity Included***
