On July 21, 1995, the USPS issued a set of four stamps commemorating the Carrousel Horse. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover showing one of these stamps cancelled from the city of issue (Lahaska, PA) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a beautiful carrousel horse with a Lion inset. The company that produced this cover also wrote a short commentary on carrousel horses. We have included a copy for you. You can find out which American President once sanded carrousel horses in a factory near his home.
