On October 1, 1988, the USPS issued a set of four stamps commemorating the Carrousel Animals...the Goat, Buck, Camel and Horse. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover with all four stamps cancelled from the city of issue (Sandusky, Ohio) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The sepia cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a small child riding his fearless steed. Just looking at him evokes our own childhood memories.
Double matted in green & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
