Buffalo Soldier Farewell.... Shown here is a
beautiful art print of a Buffalo
Soldier saying farewell. Six all-Black Army units were created
in 1866 as the first Black professional soldiers in a peacetime army.
Distinguishing themselves during the Indian Wars in the second half of
the nineteenth century, the Buffalo Soldiers were honored with a US
stamp April 22, 1994.
The print and
uncancelled, collectible stamp are matted in blue to fit a
standard 8 x 10 frame.
