On February 8, 1960, the Postal Service of the Canal Zone issued a stamp to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Balboa) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a Cub Scout, a Boy Scout, and an Eagle Scout.  This Canal Zone stamp was issued the same date as the US stamp designed by Norman Rockwell of a Scout giving the salute.

Double matted in green & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY INCLUDED***
