On June 22, 1993, the USPS issued a stamp honoring the World Champion Heavyweight Boxer, Joe Louis.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Detroit, Michigan) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a full-color poster featuring the life of the 'Brown Bomber.'  Collectible, historic, can't-be--duplicated, this is a great piece of boxing memorabilia.

Double matted in blue & white, this piece is sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
