William Jefferson Clinton.... On January 20, 1993, William Jefferson Clinton was sworn in as the 42nd President of the United States. Shown here is a genuine Commemorative Inaugural Cover with the postmark "freezing" the date and place that the inauguration occurred. The 29 cents flag stamp serves the purpose of supplying current postage, for without it the post office would not cancel. Note the specially designed postmark of the Capitol Dome created for this 1993 inauguration.
