On June 1, 1976, USPS issued a stamp jointly with Canada honoring Benjamin Franklin and commemorating the U.S. Bicentennial. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the US stamp and the Canada stamp both cancelled from the US city of issue (Philadelphia) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a portrait of Franklin printed on silk. Historic, collectible, this is one of many items honoring famous Americans offered by Wall Art Collectibles.
Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
