On March 31, 1960, the USPS issued a stamp to honor Benjamin Franklin and his Credo:"Fear to do ill, and you need fear Nought else."  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Philadelphia) on the first day of issue captioned above. The addition of three older stamps, which were added to the envelope along with the new one and then cancelled on the "birthday" of the new one, make this a Combo. The most spectacular older stamp is the large 3 cents red stamp issed in 1956 commemorating the 250th anniversary of his birth.

The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a portrait of Franklin and a printing press. Historic, collectible, this is one of many items honoring famous Americans offered by Wall Art Collectibles.

Double matted in  blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
