On June 17, 1975, the USPS issued a stamp to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp, featuring the artwork of Trumbull, cancelled from the city of issue (Charlestown,MA) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The green-toned cachet (artwork on the envelope) depicts the battle scene as well as the obelisk commemorating the battle. Historic, collectible, this is one of several pieces of Revolutionary War Postal Memorabilia offered by Wall Art Collectibles.

Double matted in blue & white, this is matted to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
