On June 30, 1950, the USPS issued a stamp to honor the Boy Scouts of America during the National Jamboree at Valley Forge, Pa.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Valley Forge, Pa.) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features the three levels of Scouts and a small kneeling George Washington at Valley Forge.  Historic, collectible, this is a great piece of Scouting memorabilia featuring the first US postal stamp paying tribute to the Boy Scouts.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY INCLUDED***
