On October 10, 1980, the USPS issued an imprinted envelope with the embossed imprint or "stamp" honoring the Honey Bee during National Honey Week declared by the American Beekeeping Federation. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the "stamp" depicting a honey bee and flowers cancelled from the city of issue (Paris, IL) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The green-toned cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a Beekeeper at work.

Double matted in green & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
