Animal Rescue..... On April 30, 2010, the
USPS issued five different stamps depicting dogs and cats from rescue
shelters to promote Animal Rescue -
Adopt a Shelter Pet. Two of these stamps - one dog
and one cat have been selected to join a black and white photo print of
a man about to enter the Animal Rescue League building with a cat
carrier, while the cat escapes from the back. Too bad! That cat has
just missed the possibility of getting adopted by a good family and
going to a good home.
Matted in blue, it's sized to fit a
standard 8 x 10 picture frame.
