On February 2, 1976, the USPS issued an imprinted envelope to honor the American Homemaker in the Bicentennial Year. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the quilt design imprint or "stamp" cancelled from the city of issue (Biloxi, MS) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a colonial homemaker spinning yarn with an overlay of a spinning wheel.

Double matted in green & tan, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
