Winslow Homer....

On December 15, 1962, the USPS issued a stamp to honor the great American artist, Winslow Homer.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover of the stamp depicting Homer's famous painting 'Breezing Up', cancelled on the first day of issue from the city of issue (Gloucester, Mass.)

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a black & white drawing of Homer and a picture of his painting "Fishing Boats at Key West."  The caption below reads,  "Honoring Winslow Homer 1836-1910 Famous American Artist - Painter of the Seas."  Collectible, historic, this is a great piece of American Art memorabilia.

Matted in green and white, we've sized this to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
