On December 15, 1964, the USPS issued a stamp commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the American Radio Relay League and honoring the thousands of Amateur Radio Operators. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Anchorage, Alaska) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a Ham operator with two boys looking on.

Double matted in green and white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
