Shown here is a full-color photo print of the A-26 Invader. Rugged, dependable, it first saw combat in 1944. Built by Douglas, it served the US Air Force well through the Vietnam War. It's joined by two uncancelled, collectible stamps. The first features the B52 and commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the Air Force from its inception as part of the Army Air Corps to 1947 when it became its own service branch; the second stamp was issued Veterans Day 1979 and honors Vietnam Veterans.
Matted in blue. it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.
