On February 14, 19162, the USPS issued a full-color stamp commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Arizona Statehood. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp, depicting a saguaro cactus in bloom on a full-moon desert night, cancelled from the city of issue (Phoenix, AZ) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) shows a photograph of the State Capitol in Phoenix.
Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
