On November 3, 1995, the USPS issued a set of five stamps commemorating Antique Automobiles - the 1898 Columbia, the 1901 White, the 1894 Haynes, the 1899 Winton, and the 1893 Duryea. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamps cancelled from the city of issue (New York City) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The beautiful full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features antique cars painted in watercolors across the envelope. This cover has all the bells & whistles - unaddressed, the complete set of five stamps, superb art, great history - it's a collectible, piece of automobile and postal memorabilia.
Double matted in blue & wine, this piece will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
