On November 4, 1988, the USPS honored American impressionist painter, Mary Cassatt with another stamp, this time as a part of the Great Americans series. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Philadelphia, Pa.) on the first day of issue captioned above.
