On November 17, 1966, the USPS honored American impressionist painter, Mary Cassatt.  The stamp depicts her painting, 'The Boating Party' in full color.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Washington, DC) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a photo of 'The Boating Party' and an inset of the artist.  Historic, collectible, this is a very personal gift for anyone who loves and appreciates the art of Mary Cassatt.

It's double matted in  blue & white and will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
