On June 14, 1985, the USPS issued a stamp to honor the wife of the 2nd President of the United Staes and the mother of the sixth President, Abigail Adams. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Quincy, Mass. - the town in which she died) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a portrait of Adams and Peacefield, the Adams Home in Quincy, Massachusetts.  Historic, collectible, this is one of many items honoring notable Americans offered by Wall Art Collectibles.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
