On May 1, 1997, the USPS issued a set of fifteen stamps in a series called The World of Dinosaurs. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with three of the stamps, commemorating the Daspletosaurus, the Parasaurolophus, and the Palaeosaniwa, cancelled from the city of issue (Grand Junction, CO) on the first day of issue captioned above. Note the special postmark designed for the cancellation of these four stamps on their "birthday."

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features several different dinosaurs, both on land and under water, and is rendered in watercolors.

Double matted in green & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
