Disney's 1968 Christmas Card......
Shown here is a full-color Souvenir Sheet depicting the Original Christmas Card from The Walt Disney Company in 1968....and what a card it was! Mickey Mouse in a Santa hat is joined by Donald Duck, Cinderella, Bambi, Pluto, two of the 101 Dalmations, and Pinocchio on the stamp, while the background features Snow White, Lady & the Tramp, Tinkerbell, Alice, Tigger, Goofy and Dumbo just for starters. A Souvenir Sheet is, in this case, one stamp surrounded by additional artwork . Issued by Tanzania in 1991, it was printed in limited quantities and is meant to be kept intact and collected.
Double matted in blue & white, this piece is sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.
